Van Beek Drywall Inc. was started in December of 1981 by Doug Van Beek. Doug is a drywall finisher specializing in high-end custom finishes.

Metal stud framing, shaft wall assemblies, some wood framing, insulation, acoustic ceiling, priming, texturing, and FRP are part of core services as well.

Meet Our Team

Doug Van Beek, Owner
Doug has been in the drywall business since 1978 when he specialized in high-end custom finishes. Being a self-starter, Doug is the motivating force of all aspects of our company. Doug still personally prepares or oversees all of the estimates and is very involved in the management of most of our projects, despite our exponential growth.

Jeff Rich
After 42 years working and managing VBD it is time for Doug to transition out of the business and into the next chapter of his life. This transition will take place over the next several years as Jeff Rich moves into Doug’s place as owner and President of VBD. Jeff has worked for VBD for 27 years starting as a drywall installer then moved into a foreman role then to overall hanging foreman. This transition is set up in a way to have little or no impact on VBD customers, employees or suppliers.

Scott Mitchell, Estimator/Project Manager
Scott started with us as a metal stud framer in 2014. He quickly moved up the ranks and currently estimates projects with Doug and Cal. With his beginnings on the job site, Scott brings a thorough understanding of most projects from the metal studs all the way to the finished drywall.

Cal Skilsky, Estimator/Project Manager
Bringing a fresh perspective to our company, Cal started in 2019 as an Acoustical Ceilings Estimator. When he is not busy managing our ceiling jobs you can find Cal out on the trails as he is also a professional mountain bike racer!

Dave Foote, Shop Manager/Construction Safety Officer
Dave is a man of many hats! He has been with us for more than 10 years and is very well rounded in all aspects of our company. As our Construction Safety Officer, he coordinates safety on jobsites and training for our employees as well as the safety manuals and other documentation needed for Contractors. As the Shop Manager, Dave initiates the stocking of materials and deliveries of equipment to the jobsites and prepares submittals.

Scott Mouille, Framing Foreman
Scott is our Architectural Metals Specialist! Scott has been a valued team member since 1997. He loves the projects that bring the hardest challenges.

Matt Monson, Estimator/Drywall Finish Foreman
Matt has been with Van Beek Drywall since 2000. Matt is the Taping/Finishing Foreman where he oversees the finishing production and schedules the crew for the final stages of the project. He can also be found on-site bidding projects.

Nick Gulbranson, Ceilings Foreman
Nick grew up in the ceiling’s installation business. He joined our company in 2017 when we added Ceilings Unlimited to VanBeek Drywall. Nick has extensive experience with all different types of ceilings.

Jay Miller, Project Manager
Jay has been with Van Beek Drywall since 1991.  He is an On-Site Superintendent for all types of jobs. Jay has extensive experience and knowledge of the drywall business and the expertise necessary to complete the project at hand.

Russ Crawford, Repair Technician
Russ joined the team in 1998 taping residential and commercial jobs. Russ’ expertise led him to become in charge of small jobs that needed patch work and any warranty work since 2008.
